INDO-JAPANESE TITP MOC

The MOC was signed between JITCO & MSDE. It was signed by Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan on behalf of the Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India with Mr. Katsunobu Kato, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan in a solemn ceremony at the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare in Tokyo, Japan on October 17, 2017.

MSDE is the governing body of TITP in India . NSDC has been appointed by MSDE as the implementing and monitoring agency in India for overseeing the execution of TITP through sending organizations.

INDIA’S SKILL CONTRIBUTION TO THE WORLD

  • Every year a number of people from India go abroad for overseas employment purposes. These are Afghanistan, Bahrain, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Japan, Oman, Qatar, etc.
  • About 0.02% i.e. 22,335 of total Indian population resides in Japan.
  • India’s population living abroad is the largest in the world with 1.6 crore (16million) people living outside the country for job purpose in 2015.
  • Nearly 7.5 lakh Indian workers migrated in 2012.

INDIA’S STRENGTH

India today is looked upon by the world as one of the youngest countries of the world.

Maximum of India’s population consists of the youngsters (between 20 to 30 years of age),or as we call them –OUR YOUNG BRIGADE

We are capable of transforming a part of this young population to skill themselves for benefiting India, Japan and the rest of the World.

JAPAN JOB ROLES

India will be sending as many skilled trainees to Japan as required for on-the-job training under 77 categories provided by
JITCO (Japan International Training Cooperation Organization)
