Mr. M.S. Nayyar
Maninder Singh Nayyar did his schooling from St. Mary’s Academy, Meerut. After completing his schooling, he dropped out for a year. He utilized this period to travel all the corners of India to collect detailed information about various courses being offered by different educational institutions of the country, and to judge which course he is suited for. In 2003, he joined Indian Law School (Pune) to pursue Bachelors in Social Law. Thereafter he moved to D.Y. Patil Institute of Law and completed his LLB, under Pune University.
He is Co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM – National Council on Education, HRD & Employment (ASSOCHAM) and is actively involved in bringing a change in the education system of India, helping the country to become a preferred education destination. He is also working in the capacity of an Advisor and mentor to various Universities and Colleges across India, helping them in elevating their standards meeting world class universities in India.He is also Advisor to Paralympic Golf Association of Delhi and Citizen Experience Foundation of India
As the member of several policymaking committees and Government bodies, he has stamped his perspective and wisdom on policy issues that surround education, governance and corporate management in India. Acknowledged for his accomplishments as an innovative administrator, Mr. Maninder Singh Nayyar has also been a member of different Board-level committees of many national and state level academic and professional institutions of repute where he helped them to initiate the change process and to charter a path of excellence. He is widely respected transformational leader in the field of Education in India.
Mr. Nayyar is working in close association with ministries on projects related to education, advisory and mentorship. In the year 2010, he was offered a post of a Secretary of Bal Bharti Academy, an NGO, which he accepted.
Under his guidance a successful educational event CONCERN took place at Delhi NCR in last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013) consecutively. The agenda of CONCERN was to promote Indian education at global level and to raise educational standards in India. This event is now a premier and flagship event in the field of education in India.
In the year 2013, 153 Institutions, 109 Consultants and 47 service providers from 32 countries have participated in CONCERN2013. The event is now taking place every year and is jointly organized by ASSOCHAM and Bal Bharti.
